Job description

Kindeva is a proven, pharmaceutical CDMO that specialises in partnering with business development, R&D and supply chain leaders at pharma companies of all sizes to formulate, develop and manufacture even the most complex drugs.

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Production Operator to work at our site on Derby Road, Loughborough, Leicestershire.

Job Summary:
To undertake pharmaceutical production line operator duties, working safely and in line with the highest standards of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) to meet agreed production schedules.

Schedude: 12 hour shifts which are 06:00 to 18:15 and 18:00 to 06:15, nights and days

Major Duties and Responsibilities:Safety:

  • Work safely in line with behavioural safety principles
  • Compliance with RPE and PPE requirements (including maintenance of personal RPE log)
  • Keep workstations and area clean and tidy
  • Spot potential hazards and report promptly
  • Complete all mandatory safety training
Quality
  • Comply with the 10 rules of cGMP
  • Ensure that tasks are carried out to right first time principles
  • Ensure documentation and in process checks are completed to the required standards
  • Conduct line clearances to ensure no rogue units are present
Production
  • Operate machinery to specification and meet daily job requirements to order to achieve scheduled production targets
  • Complete relevant documentation
  • Evaluate any breakdowns/stoppages and escalate accordingly
  • Learn the departments processes, procedures and equipment and apply this learning consistently
General
  • Co-operate and communicate with colleagues, supervisors and support function staff
  • Continuously develop knowledge and skills to meet business priorities, new product introductions and legislation as communicated by the management team
  • Participate in training and ensure that all training is effectively applied
  • Ensure training file is kept up to date
  • Contribute to and support continuous improvement activities in the area

We’re looking for people with a can do attitude, good communication skills, ability to work as part of a team. Previous experience of working in a GMP facility is desirable but not essential.
Full training will be given.
