We are seeking to recruit a highly self-motivated, conscientious and committed individual who has a do it now & can-do attitude to produce high quality rubber and plastic moulded products to specification and target.
Not one day is the same when working as a Manufacturing Operator, each day you have a variety of parts allowing for the creativity to flow. Based in the Aberdeen workshop, reporting to the Shift Team Leader the positions main responsibilities are preparing materials, equipment and producing quality parts liaising with other departments to make sure targets are met.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment is desired.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (5S) advantageous
- Previous manual handling experience
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Desire to learn
Full training will be provided, 5 weeks training programme implemented from day one.
Candidate must be able to work shifts, which is covered over a three-shift rotation pattern (6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm & 10pm – 6am) rotating each week.
Hourly rate - £12.07 per hour inclusive of shift allowance
