Job Title: Manufacturing Operator
Location: PJB Glass Group, Corby NN18 8AQ
Salary: Between £10.50- £12.75 per hour
About the Job:
Due expansion, we are actively seeking operators to start as soon as possible.
The process includes the delivery of glass as a raw product, where it will be designed, cut, toughened, and manufactured into double/triple glazed windows ,for our expanding customer base.
Shifts:
Two shifts
Am Shift - Monday - Friday 06:00-15:00- 41.5 Hours
PM Shift-Sunday-Thursday 14:00-23:00-41.5 hours
(Flexible working hours for the right candidate)
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate, must be able to demonstrate manual handling techniques and must have or be willing to expand/learn knowledge of working with glass in a manufacturing environment. They will have the desire to become competent in all aspects of production.
They must have good organisational skills to ensure that all orders are correct and minimalize errors or damage. They must be able to work as part of a team environment, but will be able to work individually when required.
They will have an excellent eye for detail as they will be required to inspect the quality of glass as it passes through the production line, being able to spot scratches, damage or imperfections in the glass.
Previous glass experience very welcome, with starting salary negotiable depending on experience/ability.
