We’re currently recruiting self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our existing team on site in Ossett, Wakefield.

What we’re looking for:

If you have a can-do attitude, are willing to work hard and as part of a team, then you’re likely to fit our criteria! Applicants will also need to have a good understanding of English and of basic mathematics. Experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial, though may not be essential as full training is provided.

What should you expect:

In your first few days you’ll be introduced to our Health & Safety procedures and receive training on how to identify faults in the product. You’ll spend time shadowing your team leader in the Tiling Department and receiving end-of-production-line training, including how to use our packaging machine.

What the role entails:

Your key responsibilities will be as follows:

· Safe operation of process machinery and equipment in line with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

· Ensuring all products are manufactured to specification.

· Helping to maintain a safe working environment by having a proactive approach to safety and housekeeping.

· Reporting of equipment defects, via your team leader.

· Completing process paperwork / computer work in an accurate and timely manner.

· To work in a professional manner at all times and comply with the company’s policies and procedures.

The company operates on an annualised hours basis with typical shift patterns being; 6:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm / 10:00pm - 6:00am. Employees will need to be flexible in order to cover all shifts on rotation, and occasionally may be ask to work a 12 hour shift, to cover absence or holidays.
