A well established, West Yorkshire based Manufacturer of fabricated assemblies is now looking to recruit a Manufacturing Manager. Forming part of the senior leadership team, the recruit will play a vital role moving the organisation towards their overall business objectives.
The Role:
- Full autonomy in running a multi-faceted manufacturing department to include sheet metal fabrication, assembly and machining processes.
- Will form part of senior team that will deliver capex projects in line with company strategy.
- To work with the production engineering team to help Identify opportunities for improvement; ensuring the resulting projects are fully supported and completed on time.
- Support the development of managers and shop floor personnel under their management.
The Person:
We are seeking high calibre manufacturing professionals with a true passion for modern manufacturing who can contribute to the continuing growth of the business. Ideally you will possess.
- Management level experience in a multi-faceted manufacturing environment.
- Significant exposure to modern manufacturing tools & techniques.
- Experience of working in engineering, machining, fabrication and/or hand assembly type environments.
This opportunity is unique. The business is large enough to offer the level of complexity for those with the aspirations to really make an impact on a business; but not too large where a corporate structure might slow decision making processes. With plans to rapidly expand over the next 5 years, the role offers excellent potential for progression in terms of level of influence and financial reward.
If you have the required background, experience and believe you can make a true contribution to the organisation then please contact me for an exploratory conversation.
