Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take responsibility for all safety measures and monitors compliance with all safety requirements and monitor the order and cleanliness to the extent of his function and responsibility
- Plan and coordinate the production, planning, and distribution of the work’s activities. Check the staff and resource availability. Keep an eye on the delivery. Work with other departments to coordinate operations
- Promote a working environment where commitment, willingness to collaborate, development and creativity of the individual employee is encouraged
- Ensure the availability of management information in such a way that a timely adjustment and control is possible
- Co-development of investment proposals
- Evaluate the performance of employees
- Take measures necessary to achieve optimum efficiency of the production process, in terms of capacity, equipment availability, staffing, budget control, quality and delivery
- Attend meetings on addressing complaints, innovation, and productivity improvement
- Ensure compliance with quality systems, procedures, and working instructions
- Take initiative for improving production processes and products
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High energy level required, man of action, natural authority, team player
- Strong leadership skills (incl. motivating people), independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
- A broad production experience
- Has a high professional level with a technical background in Mechanics
- Experience with production processing and production techniques: e.g. LEAN, KAIZEN, TQM
