The Best Connection (Newcastle) are currently recruiting Manufacturing Engineers to work for a large component manufacturer. Our client provides high quality components to the commercial vehicle sector and industrial markets. This role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

From their facility in Cramlington you will:

• Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager
• Work with all aspects of new product, process development and existing process improvement
• Contributing to feasibility reviews
• Reviewing current processes and identifying potential improvements
• Creating and amending process control sheets

The ideal candidate:

• Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline (ideal role for a graduate)
• CAD skills (Solid works, Fusion360 or similar)
• Good knowledge of new products in development and their tooling and machining requirements
• PC literate

Hours of work:

• Monday to Thursday - 07:00 till 15:30pm
• Friday - 07:00am till 13:00pm
• 38hrs per week
• £15.18 per hour
