Position: Manufacturing Operator

Our Opportunity:

Due to demand we’re looking for a Manufacturing Operator to join the team in Templecombe.

The Manufacturing Operator will be accountable for performing manufacturing operations in accordance with appropriate engineering drawings and documents, by working within the allocated times and the required quality criteria.

Some experience working in a technical role would be advantageous but full training will be provided. You’ll work with an experienced team and have ample opportunity to learn, develop and progress.

What you'll do:

  • Experienced operator, performs a number of highly qualified, fairly complex operations, organizing the work according to standard procedures and with a high degree of autonomy, applying basic knowledge of several domains relative to the concerned perimeter

  • Reach day-to-day objectives and deliver results that have a limited impact on production unit/function overall results.

  • Obtain and provide information relative to concerned domains and technics within the production organization.

  • Detect and alert on problems relative to existing methods, tools and techniques toward the Manager.

About You

  • The ability to interpret a build pack

  • Genuine interest in working in a technical manufacturing role

  • Able to grasp and develop technical skills

  • Can follow instructions and work to tight deadlines

  • Willingness to learn

  • Able to work as part of a large team

  • Ideally from an Engineering/Manufacturing background

  • Any experience working in a technical role would be an advantage

  • Currently hold or able to obtain SC level clearance with no restrictions
