Job description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products.
- Research, design and develop manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment.
- Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
- Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products by establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.
- Cost justify various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
- Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement and improved efficiency.
- Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or related field or the combination of work experience to the satisfactory of management..
- Working knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Able to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods such as flow, layout, assembly and equipment production.
- Time management skills with ability to prioritize assignments appropriately.
- Detail-oriented and strong team player.
- Attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
Experience
Required- 2 - 3 years: BS Engineering discipline
Education
Required- Bachelors or better in Engineering
