Job Description - Manufacturing Engineer
Location – Wolverhampton
Job Type: Contractual for 12 Months and Outside IR 35
Reporting to - Project Manager

Work description:
· Carry out a range of manufacturing engineering tasks viz. manufacturing instruction updates, process planning, data analysis
· shall have experience in various forge processes, including presses, hammers, ring rolling and up setters
· Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities
· Carry out planning activities and associated tasks in support of the manufacturing production requirements.
· Support design and development of tooling and fixturing for conventional and non-conventional machine tools
· Support / establishing the Manufacturing technology for Serial production & traceability
· Derive PFMEA and Control Plans for the melt area
· Participate in cross-functional settings and work with support functions viz. design, production quality etc…
· Responsible for reviewing and approving forge fixed processes for a variety of materials: Ti, Ni, Fe, and Al.
· Support Cost reduction & continual improvement activities.
· Analyze raw data and generate useable reports
· To execute tasks in line with the Quality Procedures and Production system
· Monitor component manufacturing process and resolve any issues arising during production
· Support / advise CFT on the Environment & Safety issues, arising from the proposed production system, in line with Industrial regulation.
· Advise CFT / management on containment procedures arising due to defective production
· Attend the daily cell meetings at the cube
· Attend the daily line walk meetings
· Manage non conformance within their given area and contribute to 8D investigations
· Contribute technical information in support of the technical admin creation of SOP’s
· Collect and analyse data in support of projects and reports such as the 1D meetings and yield packs
· Support the H+S team with reducing risks within their area to a PHA of less than 4

· Understanding of Manufacturing Engineering core processes (e.g. process planning, inspection planning, tooling, creation of operator instructions)
· Ability to characterize various tools, tooling’s and fixtures
Education & Professional Qualification:
· Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering
· Minimum hands on experience in Manufacturing Engineering 8-12 years
· Should have background on metallurgy and special process
