Miraclon is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer at our Weatherford, Oklahoma Flexographic Packaging facility. This individual must reside within 30 miles from the Weatherford facility.

The Weatherford, OK, USA plant is the worldwide supplier of KODAK FLEXCEL Thermal Imaging Film products used in the NX System. This individual will be focused on maintaining high quality standards of the ISO 9001:2015 Registered plant. Additionally, the responsibilities include maximizing the yield and reduction of costs for the products. The Manufacturing Process Engineer is also a key resource for thin coatings and drying, web handling, solution preparations, ERP input and product transactions, production reporting, specification of raw materials, and conversion of semi-finished goods to finished products for delivery.
Major related job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and documenting process operation standards
- Using SPC techniques to identify and reduce variability within the process
- Participate or lead Root Cause Investigations of process upsets
- Analyzing and establishing Process Capabilities of processes
- Reporting results in technical and business terms of process performance
- Investigate customer returns and report findings for process improvement
- Establish recipes for process parameters related to solution preparation, coating, and drying
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Engineering or Engineering Technology degree related to materials and processes (Recent B.S. graduates will be considered)
- Strong skills in the use of MS Office software to prepare documents and analyze data
- Experience with a Statistical Data Package like Minitab or SPSS preferred
- 2 years Manufacturing experience preferred
- Recent coating experience preferred
- Must live within 30 miles from the Weatherford facility for off-shift troubleshooting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
