Dixon Quick Coupling is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Dallas, NC! In this role you will plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes in an industrial plant. Develop, evaluate, and improve production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs. Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements. Bachelors degree in engineering required. Co-op or internship experience required.

Competencies

• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings

• Demonstrated understanding of engineering principles and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Excellent math skills

• SolidWorks experience is a plus

• Proficient in Word, Excel

• Strong communication skills- answering technical questions.

• Ability to generate ideas for process improvements and lean manufacturing.
