Your role will be critical in ensuring a successful transition and enabling the company to achieve new heights of efficiency and excellence.
The purpose of this role is to support the design, development and implementation of engineering change management processes within the manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for the correct mix of Process, Data, IT and Technology to optimise, standardise and improve processes across our global manufacturing plants.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Manufacturing Bill of Materials Governance, ensuring that all engineering change orders/actions are properly documented and tracked throughout the process.
- Overseeing the implementation of approved engineering changes, ensuring that they are executed correctly and on schedule.
- Facilitating the approval process for engineering changes, which may involve obtaining necessary signatures and approvals from stakeholders.
- Carefully reviewing and analyzing BOMs to ensure that they accurately represent the components, materials, and quantities needed to manufacture a product.
- Ensuring consistency across various BOMs, such as engineering BOMs (EBOMs) and manufacturing BOMs (MBOMs) and reconciling any discrepancies.
- Managing and tracking different versions of BOMs to ensure that the most up-to-date version is used in production.
- Drive and facilitate the development of Business Capability, Process Maps and clear Business Requirements to define the process and systems needed to transform our systems landscape into our Global Target Operating Model.
- Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines (QMS Champion)
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Proven experience in change management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Experience of defining operational processes, business capabilities or IT requirements.
- Experience or knowledge of project management or supporting projects in a complex environment.
- Experience or knowledge of driving process improvement activities or managing change.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in the automotive industry
