Portico is now looking for an amazing Receptionist that is fluent in Mandarin to join our family.
Our team is based at the London offices of a state-owned commercial bank. In 2013 the bank was the largest of one thousand global banks, being the first bank headquartered in Asia to achieve this distinction in modern history.
The Receptionist’s main objective is to provide the highest level of customer care and personal service to all visitors, clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
This diverse role caries various responsibilities to reception, admin, and hospitality. Day to day duties involve signing in guests, escorting them to their meeting room, ensuring the space is ready for any events or meetings booked for the day and supporting the client with any ad hoc duties. You will also be managing the switchboard where you will utilise your Mandarin language skills. Part of a team of 2, you will work together to ensure that all reception and office duties on both the ground floor and client floor are dealt with in a timely manner.
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 5:30pm
Salary: £26,061
Fluency in Mandarin, both written and verbal, is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service as well as desire to learn and grow within the industry. You will also have a natural ability to connect with people from all levels of a business and the ability to adapt your approach to the person in front of you. Someone with a positive can-do attitude and a genuine willingness to help people will fit right in!
