A vacancy has arisen for a Manager to join Audit Quality Monitoring and Measurement team to assist with the monitoring of the System of Quality Management following the implementation of the International Standard on Quality Management.

The role involves interaction with senior stakeholders and provides an insight into the functioning of a large professional services firm. The Manager will work closely with the review team, the process owners and the firm's Leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the System of Quality Management Lead in the monitoring of the internal processes from the inside and drive a continuous improvement cycle for our quality control system.
- Reviewing of the results of the testing and discuss issues with the relevant stakeholders
- Resolving operational blockers
- Performing analysis of interdependencies and assessment of pervasive findings and deficiencies
- Communicating observations and managing stakeholder expectations
- Driving continuous improvement through innovation and transformation, embracing change and challenging the way we do things to develop new ways of working
- Being part of a wider community, helping to grow our department and develop our strategy; and
- Managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
Connect to your skills and professional experience
To qualify for the role you must have:
- External or Internal audit experience and a relevant accounting qualification, such as the ACA, CPA or ACCA;
- Thorough knowledge of COSO framework;
- Detailed understanding of internal controls;
- Extensive experience in testing controls under PCAOB requirements;
- A commitment to audit quality and demonstrable experience of applying professional skepticism;
- A proven track record in establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with senior stakeholders;
- Strong leadership skills both on engagements and in an office environment;
- An ability to implement solutions to address changes in regulatory requirements and a track record of embracing and delivering change;
- Report writing, presentation and interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communications skills;
- The ability to build relationships
- The ability to identify and drive the use of best practice to deliver improvement and development in the firm's practices
- The ability to drive creative thinking, connect ideas and insights from other industries and businesses
Essential
- ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent
- PCAOB controls testing experience
- Manager in external or internal audit
Desirable
- Knowledge of ISQM1 and differences between ISQM1 and ISQC1
- Understanding of ICFR SOX reporting
- Practice review experience desirable

Personal independence
