About the Role:
The IT BRM will liaise between IT and the team members to help understand their technology needs. You will be with care for a group, developing deep institutional knowledge and helping map requirements and processes to IT architecture.
You will help prioritise tech-enabled projects, ensuring return on investment is realised and is aligned with the Association's Strategy. You will report to Senior Manager - IT Business Relationship Manager
You Will:
- Guide communication between IT and the partner groups to understand their technology needs and issues.
- Obtain an understanding of relevant business area(s) to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements.
- Be a lead for strategic IT programs for the department.
- Establish a communication methodology for efficient.
- Create artefacts, including business case documentation, scope documentation, and process flow.
- Use multiple techniques to understand our requirements, such as interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, and storyboards.
- Shape requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions.
- Identify and help prioritise opportunities to improve business processes.
- Understand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks.
- Help resolve between team member groups by facilitating discussions and escalating issues.
- Translate conceptual user requirements into precise, detailed functional requirements.
- Manage requirements scoping throughout the delivery process.
- Work with business and delivery teams to prioritize needs.
- Document current processes and models to understand inefficiencies or gaps.
- Support delivery teams as they develop, test, and deploy solutions.
- Lead small projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects.
- Promote a collaborative team environment and provide mentorship to junior-level analysts.
- Collaborate with leaders across the organization and share ownership of maturing the BRM function.
- Address vendor and client complaints respectfully and promptly and demonstrate the value of IT services and capabilities.
- Review delivery team output to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted; build test cases.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience).
- Good with business analysis capability
- Business analysis certification or similar.
- Professional certification in project management.
- Have experienced in "waterfall" and "agile" project management methodologies.
- Have experienced in ITIL
- Lead a global team and work in different times zones.
