This is an exciting new opportunity to work with our Head of Global Corporate Real Estate to manage IHG’s corporate office portfolio.

Your day to day

Ongoing

  • Day-to-day management of IHG’s overall office (lease) portfolio, including the leasehold management tool and associated reporting
  • Engage with stakeholders across the business to understand evolving office demand
  • Track office lease expiry, decision points, and cost

Projects

  • Work with Head of Corporate Real Estate to manage office renewals, relocations or other changes globally
  • Co-ordinate with real estate brokers to identify available market options, and enable decision-making through clear written and verbal presentation of options and proposals available
  • Facilitate decision-making through organisation and preparation for appropriate stakeholder meetings and/or steering committees

What we need from you

Whilst we love experience, mindset is of equal importance. We’re looking for someone who can think beyond what's been done before. Someone with a real can-do attitude! Analytical and process driven with great Excel skills! You have worked within a Commercial Real Estate setting and have experience across a diverse range of geographies and cultures.

  • Experience with leasehold and freehold transactions and advisory incl landlord negotiations.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders to drive (real estate) decisions.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Detailed understanding of lease structures & contracts
  • Ability to model financial scenarios and create accurate reporting (e.g. cost, utilization)
  • Ability to create clear written presentations (ie. Powerpoint) for senior stakeholders
