The Manager, Commercial Support UKEMEA will manage a team of individuals supporting the commercial business and the relationship and performance of an external business partner, delivering a servicing solution for trade customers across the region.
This role will provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to the team, driving high performance and capability to achieve business objectives. You will also act as a leader within the broader UKEMEA team in a London based role, modelling key leadership behaviours and promoting employee engagement.
The support scope of the team includes, but is not limited to pricing, external trade, customer care, airport disruption, marketing, events, communications, regional General Sales Agents, staff / duty travel, ticketing, refunds, audit, Qantas.com, and contact centres.
You’ll have:
- 7+ years Airline Sales experience
- IATA Fares & Ticketing Qualifications or similar would be desirable
- Exceptional people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
- Strong commercial orientation and high level of business acumen
- Highly developed communication, organisational and leadership skills
- Extensive customer service experience in leadership capacity
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management, both internally and externally Extensive knowledge of Qantas product and processes
- High level of IT literacy
- Strong knowledge and excellent skills in AQIRE/Amadeus/ARDWeb, cryptic GDS & BSP
- Extensive knowledge and awareness of the regional airline and travel industry across UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa
