Job description

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), the CCO Office Manager is responsible for providing commercial input and support to the CCO and will be directly involved in helping to achieve the short-term and long-term revenue targets of the company, including the development and execution of the company’s revenue strategy. This position requires a broad skillset, a high degree of versatility and the ability to maintain the utmost level of discretion/confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Thorough Understanding of Aircraft Leasing
    • Work with the CCO to develop a clear and flexible understanding of the business of the company, its commercial drivers, the strategic means deployed to meet those drivers, including control functions and the processes of managerial control and oversight.
    • Understand the functions and scope of the company’s various management committees (particularly those pertinent to the office of the CCO), related departmental roles & responsibilities, delegated authority processes and limits, and the company’s annual and 5-year plan targets.
    • Understand the reporting requirements of the CCO to the Chief Executive Officer, Senior Management, Shareholders, Board and related regulatory authorities.
    • Assist in the development of the company’s revenue strategy and the formulation and execution of short-term and long-term revenue plans.
  • Drive Ongoing Business
    • Assist in the formulation of the CCO’s ongoing work plan.
    • Highlight salient points to the CCO on market conditions and competitor information through analytical understanding of news feeds including but not limited to news feeds from Strategy and Market Research, Investor Relations and Corporate Communication, departmental weeklies, and other related news portals.
    • Bring to the CCO’s attention issues on an important vs urgent scale.
    • Proactively sit in management committee meetings, note key issues raised and follow-up actions required and provide feedback to the CCO on issues that need his attention.
    • Ensure timely circulation of agenda and minutes as the secretary to meetings chaired by the CCO.
    • Provide analytical support and input on business opportunities as needed to serve the needs of the business and as requested by the CCO.
  • Workflow Support
    • Provide effective and efficient support to the CCO in the management of ongoing workflow.
    • Provide direct support to the CCO in organizing and managing business information as required including meeting briefs, presentation slides preparation and other ad hoc support prior to meetings.
    • Provide support to the CCO including internal and external meeting plans, document management, and refreshing of key charts and reports used by the CCO on a regular basis.
    • Provide input into the CCO’s forward calendar and travel planning, facilitating priority planning of key business meetings and overseeing related communication.
    • Travel with the CCO as required and proactively participate in meetings conducted by the CCO.
    • Work with and assist the broader Airline Leasing & Sales team, particularly the Heads of Department for Europe & Africa and the Americas, to ensure effective business communication and collaboration.
  • Reporting
    • Assist in the preparation of the CCO’s weekly and monthly internal reports, highlighting pertinent updates and monitoring performance against agreed targets for the business area and the CCO.
    • Develop an effective communications and reporting protocol for business initiatives led by the CCO, particularly those related to revenue strategy.
  • Others
    • Ad hoc projects or tasks as assigned by the CCO.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in the Aviation, Aviation Finance, or Aircraft Leasing industry.
  • Personal drive and ambition to develop oneself in the Aircraft Leasing & Sales side of the business.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and data-driven.
  • High emotional intelligence and will enjoy working with internal and external stakeholders, including at the most senior levels.
  • Strong negotiation, influence, and presentation skills with the ability to successfully navigate in a diverse and global team.
  • Highly driven with the ability to perform under pressure.
