Job description
As Manager, B2B Content Development, you will lead our team responsible for developing all our "always-on" partner facing content that we communicate through a diverse set of communication channels. In collaboration with your team of 5, you will ensure we provide engaging content that supports and complements our account managers in ensuring our partners take action to optimise and grow their delivery businesses. This will include owning all the content on ShowPad, our repository for all commercial content, our Partner Website and CRM email content as well as step-changing our use of trade press as an under-developed channel for partner engagement. Furthermore, you will be responsible for generating leads for our inbound sales teams and providing the day-to-day partner communications on operational matters.
Beyond your own function, you will also be a key member of the Commercial Operations Management Team reporting to the Commercial Operations Director. As such, you will contribute to defining and embedding our wider approach to enabling our commercial teams to deliver a market-leading proposition to all our restaurant and retail partners in an efficient and impactful way.
What you'll be responsible for
- Generating all of Deliveroo's "ever-green" partner-facing content that we deliver through our B2B communication channels
- Collaborate with relevant subject-matter experts to identify the key messages and content to be communicated to partners during our restaurant on-boarding and at key partner life-cycle moments that complements our account management capabilities
- Write the copy that will be published through our diverse set of B2B communication channels including CRM emails, Partner Website, Restaurant Hub, Help Centre and the materials used by our commercial teams in their interactions with partners
- Manage ShowPad as our primary platform for commercial teams to access B2B content that they use with their partners
- Liaise with the B2B Content Delivery team to ensure that our content remains up-to-date through all other B2B channels
- Managing our inbound lead generation funnel for new partner acquisition
- Partner with our Sales leaders to identify the profile of partners and hyperlocal geographies that we will target through our lead generation approach
- Align with local Sales leaders on the calls-to-action within our lead generation content, including alignment with our commercial terms architectures
- Plan, build and execute multi-channel lead generation campaigns on behalf of local market teams that achieve our lead volume targets at the optimal cost-per-acquisition
- Ensure our digital marketing channels are optimised for lead acquisition including Deliveroo's Partner website and organic SEO
- Collaborate with our Partner Policy & Process Lead for Sales to ensure we are systematically monitoring the health of our inbound funnel and that there is a frictionless hand-over to the local Inbound Sales teams
- Driving our trade press agenda in each market in collaboration with our Communications team
- Identify and develop 'news worthy' stories and insights that could be developed into meaningful and impactful thought leadership content and reports which will be picked up by the (trade) media in all or selected markets
- Develop the specific content for PR, Social Media and/or trade press campaigns and moments for the Communications team to execute
- Work with the Communications team to develop initiatives that go beyond media into content, digital publications, social, influencer etc in order to improve SEO performance
- Managing our operational communications to Partners
- Manage all UKI operational communications to partners as a support function for our Operations teams
- Create playbooks and templates for other market teams to utilise for their operational communications
- Building, coaching and leading an exceptional B2B Content team that is engaged, inclusive and high-performing
- Create a compelling vision with a strong sense of unity and desire to win together
- Recruit and coach team members that are subject matter experts in their field, with high partner and customer centricity
- Foster collaboration throughout the organisation, understanding the benefit and importance of strong functional and cross-market collaboration

- B2B Marketing domain expertise: excellence in copywriting, proofing and editing; experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms; competent in SEO and social media strategies
