Our client is an established, successful multi-site company specialising in the Accountancy sector. Due to a team expansion, they are now looking to acquire the services of a hard-working Supervisor, providing support to Partners/Managers by assisting with the day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of clients, and assisting with running a team. This is a fantastic opportunity, allowing successful candidates to be trained within a Platinum training organisation, which would suit an individual who is a self-starter, passionate and resilient looking to work in a varied, dynamic environment, offering the scope for credible career development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for ensuring that client work is passed to managers within agreed timescales, ensuring the work of juniors has also been reviewed within those timescales.
- Assist with running a team by providing direction and support to juniors and through delegation of work to juniors where it makes commercial sense to do so.
- Provide junior colleagues with constructive feedback on the work you have delegated to them, together with comprehensive review notes. Discuss feedback and review notes with them to ensure they are aware of what needs to be done to complete the work.
- Actively develop technical knowledge through a combination of workplace learning and continual professional development.
- Demonstrate dexterity in thinking, taking a holistic view of the client’s financial position to identify and recommend the Company’s compatible services and solutions, tax planning strategies and improvements to the Company’s services.
- Demonstrate willingness to work for all partners/managers and ability to identify gaps in experience and knowledge, with consideration to your client base. Use initiative to seek out solutions to bridge these gaps.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Fully ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Hard-working and committed to supporting the company and their clients.
- Using initiative to resolve problems, producing high quality work.
- A positive team player who likes a challenge.
- Enthusiasm, willingness to learn with an aptitude for analytical skills.
- Effective and clear communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- This is a full time, permanent role, Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm (37.5hrs).
- 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (and additional Company and volunteering days).
- Agile working policy, allowing 50:50 split between WFH and office following probation.
