Job description
The Reporting and Insight team is responsible for all sales and revenue related performance reporting across Mastercard’s Transfer Solutions product lines. This team provide data led sales insight to enable strategic and tactical decision making which leads to enhanced market engagement, sales and revenues. In addition, this team will establish & co-ordinate governance to support meeting revenue goals across the Transfer Solutions products (Cross Border, Send, Bill Pay and Pay by Account).
As Manager within the Analytics and Metrics team, you will support in the delivery of the strategy for supporting the Mastercard regional sales teams regions with insights and data to bring focus on sales activities, customer activation and product usage. You will also be responsible for implementing and enhancing the standardised models for reporting and drive continuous improvement and automation across reporting on Transfer Solutions sales execution.
This is a critical role within the newly created Market Enablement function working as part of team responsible for driving to scale revenue across Transfer Solutions and therefore directly contribute towards the team’s financial goals.
Key accountabilities and duties
The Reporting and Insight team fit within the newly created Market Enablement team and are responsible for managing sales performance reporting across all Transfer Solutions products. This includes monitoring of KPIs and post-sale revenue. The team will also develop and operate sales governance to ensure the right opportunities are targeted. In addition to reporting the team will analyse the data recorded from sales execution to provide insights on best practice in areas such as sales planning, customer selection, sales management, and long-term revenue generation.
The Manager Analytics and Metrics will work closely with other Market Enablement Teams, Mastercard regional and market leadership teams, the Transfer Solutions’ product teams and Finance team. They will build strong relationships across these teams to ensure that the business can successfully deliver on the Transfer Solutions growth targets and complete regular reporting in an efficient manner.
Key role functions will be:
Support in the implementation a standardised framework for reporting and analysing information across Transfer Solutions, which will help to provide clarity to sales leadership on the current pipeline opportunities and sales execution
Take ownership of the creation of regular reporting activities, including internal progress reporting and leadership reporting, working with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and sign off
Support in identifying opportunities for new reports and analytical output which can deliver actionable metrics, insight and thought leadership, and in turn drive sales improvement and customer engagement
Support the implementation of methodologies, processes, and best practices to bring data and analytics awareness to the stakeholders; implement processes, tools and support training programs to improve data / insight understanding & consistency
Track and report on the agreed KPIs which measure sales performance and drive accountability by establishing a robust framework which highlights areas for improvement within the sales process
Support in driving continuous improvement of reporting & data led insights e.g. resource planning for sales success in regions
Build relationships with other reporting functions (global P&E, Finance, Sales Excellence)
Support regions with insights and data to bring focus on sales activities, customer activation and product usage
Support the wider effort to build out more standardised and automated reporting disciplines across the Transfer Solutions function and identify ways to minimise manual, ad-hoc processes
Knowledge, Skills and Expertise (technical / role specific)
Essential
A background in data, analytics and insights is essential, and prior experience in Consulting, Sales or Marketing is preferred
Ability to work and contribute in a fast-paced, high velocity business environment, to think strategically and develop solutions that can be implemented to attain desired results
Strong ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations and to translate business objectives into desired outcomes with consistent measurements
Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate analyses into easily digestible content for executive management, internal stakeholders and sales teams
Ability to foster cross-functional, cross-geographies and cross-divisional alignment of key stakeholders to create a disciplined, ambitious, and collaborative global insight service

Experience of travelling and working outside the UK.
Experience with SFDC and Tableau tooling
Qualifications
Graduate degree, preferably in business, marketing, or technical subjects.
MBA and/or extensive business experience (>10 years) of operating at a senior level.
