About the role:
The Management Accountant (Contracts) role forms part of a team of MA's responsible for the delivery of the integrity of the General Ledgers, sub ledgers and Group reporting. The team’s work is centered around the financial reporting calendar set locally by the Board and group-wide by Sonic in Australia. The Management Accounting team plays an important part in ensuring UK group compliance with financial internal controls.
This is a broad role, with responsibilities for delivering work of a consistently high quality under pressure to senior audiences. Led by the Finance Manager (FM) and UK Group Financial Controller (FC), this role will be expected to support the overall team objectives and not constrain themselves to their allocated deliverables.
In addition, this role will work closely with the Group Contracts Financial Controller, being the main finance point of contact for all aspects of Private Hospital Contracts activities. Working closely with the Group Contracts Financial Controller, reviewing and managing the contractual agreements and requirements, being responsible for contract review, Billing instructions, and financial management of individuals contract P&Ls and cost allocations, in line with agreed principles. The role will include elements of: Local Travel to sites & Manchester Offices (infrequent), Client facing meetings, Debt review, liaise with all areas of the business, Liaising with senior members of company.
