We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our busy and talented Finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for producing accurate and timely information which assists with the production of the monthly management accounts. You will also be responsible for the day to day transactional accounts.

You will do this by:

  • Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts and associated KPI's.
  • Providing information which supports the budget and forecast processes.
  • Liaising with budget holders on a monthly basis to establish the cause of budget or forecast variances vs actual.
  • Effectively handling queries and proactively resolving issues.
  • Completing monthly sales ledger and associate payments.
  • Assisting in the migration of legacy manual invoices to our automated billing platform.
  • Processing weekly direct payments
  • Completing bank account and credit card reconciliations.
  • Producing weekly cash receipts.
  • Acting as the point of contact for resolving invoice queries and raising credit notes.
  • Improving internal controls, processes and procedures for continuous improvement.

To be considered for this exciting role candidates will have:

  • Stared working towards ACCA or CIMA.
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment (beneficial).
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work through problems logically.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication with the ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills (Knowledge and experience with pivot tables would be advantageous).

Theses things would be nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Xero is advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of G Suite is beneficial.
  • Experience of a SaaS business is advantageous.
  • Experience SaaS metrics is advantageous.
