We are now recruiting for a fast paced, self motivated, experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that adequate records and documentation is retained to satisfy any HMRC enquiries that may come up – including VAT, Corporation Tax and PAYE.
- Assist other members of WeDoPlay Group in providing management information and Ad Hoc assistance as and when required.
- Aid WDP Group Financial Controller and Directors in ensuring that obligations under any Finance Agreements are met.
- Provide general support to WDP Group Management and Directors
- Maintain electronic back up of all WDP Group Data – both relating to Bookkeeping and Management Accounts and Payroll.
- Liaise with Group FC via Teams or in person
- Work alongside other Management Accountant – assisting each other as required
- Assist in supervising Accounts AssistantWorking along side the other Management Accountant
- Prepare Management Accounts for Directors and any 3rdParties
- Including PL and Balance Sheet for each Company within the FO Group and also Divisional P&L’s for brands within WDP Group (Flip Out owner operated parks, Flip Out Franchisor, Putt Putt Noodle Owner operated and Franchisor)
- Using Xero (experience highly desirable) and also Fathom and Joiin (training provided)
- Complete back up working schedules for Balance Sheet and key Profit and Loss items – including maintenance of a Fixed Asset Register.
- Assisting preparation of Companies for Annual Audit / Year End Accounts preparation and work with year end accountants to facilitate clean audit and speedy completion of year end Account and Tax Computations.
- Ensure all Inter-Company Transactions are correctly coded between Group Company’s and that balances agree at month end
- Maintain record of inter-company balances and working of adjustments made to agree them
- Process Accruals and Prepayments so ensure that timing differences on Profit and Loss items are eliminated.
- Maintain accurate Schedules for Accruals and Prepayments
- Process necessary Journals to prepare Management Accounts for all WeDoPlay Group Companies
- Including: Depreciation, Prepayments and Accruals, Loan Interest, Inter-Company Transactions, Accrued Income adjustments, Payroll
- Ensure VAT Returns are filed on time – obtaining approval from Group Financial Controller.
Experience/Skills/Personality Traits
- Experience as Management Accountant
- Xero and Excel Expert
- Prior experience working from home
- Ability to prioritise various tasks
- Can Do attitude
- Extremely self motivated
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, providing coaching and support to help them achieve their goals.
Working Conditions
- Working remotely - you must have a dedicated workspace in your home.
- 37.5 hours per week (Typical 9-5 Monday-Friday, with some flexibility required during busy periods).
- 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays per annum
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £41,000.00 per year
