Job description
Are you part-qualified ACCA/CIMA? With prior month-end experience, notably revenue reporting? Seeking a business-facing project focused role within a renowned Leisure/Events organisation? As a result of growth, we are partnering with an iconic Leisure/Events business as they look to recruit a part-qualified Management Accountant to join their impressive finance function. Supporting on event finances, revenue and cash-flow planning are just some of the key areas you will be focusing on. Based in West London, operating to a hybrid working model.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role of Management Accountant will act as a key finance contact for various events and be tasked with detailed business and cash flow planning, balance sheet and P&L review along with business partnering with the Event directors to support on the wider events finances.
Further responsibilities include:
- Weekly cash flow forecasting
- Quarterly commission statements
- Provide commentary to any variance to plan
- Ensure all revenue planning and ops budgets are up to date and reconcilable
- Support the VP of each event to ensure they have clear and concise information for decision making
Successful applicants will have a sound understanding of double entry accounting and prior experience assisting with month-end tasks, i.e balance sheet, P&L reviews. Ideally, you will have experience working within an SME organisation with strong MS Excel skills (Desirable). Excellent communication skills along with prior Events/Project accounting experience is desired.
SAP accounting software knowledge (desirable).
