This is a newly created role that will bring lots of variety and challenge. You could be either a qualified accountant (AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or simply qualified by your experience and knowledge.
You role will include:
- Assisting with the MACS by producing detailed analysis of figures.
- Producing reports and maintaining information on contracts won and signings.
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and cashflow monitoring.
- Maintaining Fixed Asset Register.
- Preparing year end information for statutory accounts for external accountant.
- Reviewing Research & Development expenditure for R&D claim (prepared by external accountant).
- Reviewing, documenting and maintaining written systems, policies and risks.
- Assisting with external auditor requests.
- Maintaining up to date information to monitor the activity with our 2 largest suppliers.
- Involvement with the year end stocktake.
- Exporting/importing – involvement with the exporting process and compliance, to include keeping up to date records, liaising with external agents, where necessary.
- Maintaining accurate and tidy systems – Xero, Unleashed, etc.
- General assistance to the finance team and Finance Manager in all aspects of the finance function.
