RattrayParkin are working with a multi-site retail business in Nottingham to recruit a Management Accountant.

The successful candidate will report into a Head of Finance and work alongside another Management Accountant to deliver financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Timely production of the monthly Management Accounts
• Supervision of and allocation of duties to the Management Accounts team
• Optimising the efficiency and performance of the Management Accounts function through active provision of financial and accounting information to the HofF
• Assist in the timely production of the Statutory Accounts
• Carry out timely Year-end supplie statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy of the Year end balances
• Ensure timely claims of supplier rebates
• Proactive communication and liaison with Internal and External Auditors to provide timely responses to queries raised
• Authorisation of invoices in a timely manner
• Ongoing management and reconciliation of Finance agreements and replying to queries from stores
• Timely collation of export documentation in order to support VAT returns and to provide advice to stores when completing / collating documentation
• Proactive communication and liaison with all internal departments to provide required information

About you:

Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
Previous management accounting experience with excellent communication skills.

This role is full time office based.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

• Nottingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification (required)
