Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will include, but may not be limited to;
- Responsible for assisting budget holders in preparation of reports on financial performance and forecasting.
- Work alongside the Senior Office.
- Prepare expenditure forecasts and provide expert advice and guidance.
- Assist with monthly journals and year end accounts when necessary.
- Develop and implement operation process improvements.
- Ensure financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Meeting management and payment release.
- Providing grant management services.
- Business support process
The Successful Applicant
The successful Management Accountant must possess the following skill set and experience;
- Educated to A Level Standard of equivalent
- Significant experience working in Management Accounts and financial settings
- Excellent IT skills which must include Microsoft Excel
- Experience of providing statistical and data analyses
- Experience using financial accounting systems
- Team management / leadership experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective communication skills to a variety of people
- Background working in Not for Profit and Charities sector
- Ability to commute to Manchester City Centre.

- Hourly rate between £20.00 - £21.00
