Job Description
A successful Assistant Management Accountant will have the following duties:
- Supporting with the preparation of month end accounts.
- Posting accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Supporting the delivery of variance analysis to budget
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Supporting Ad-hoc projects, as well as always looking to improve processes and controls.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate will have:
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance
- Attention to detail
- Actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA
- Strong desire to learn and develop
