Job Description

FPnA Management Accountant - Trading desk and Finance Markets

City of London location with flexible hybrid working

Banking & Financial ServicesTEAM PRIORITIES:

• Global Flash (and other management information reports) preparation and consolidation
• Monthly forecast development and budget setting and monitoring
• Support global MI consolidation team in shaping and delivering key messages / key developments within FM
• Input and Support of Global FM projects
• Support Client P&L development
• Business Partnering with global FM heads
• Provide expenses review & analyses including indirect allocations
• The role requires regular liaison with Front Office business managers, Product Control, central and regional finance teams, and financial controllers

ROLE:

• Support Global FM monthly flash preparation and consolidation
• Support the Client P&L Process
• Support coordination of rolling forecast, including trend analysis and critical assessment of future developments
• Support the business in their costs understanding, including answering ad-hoc queries and developing valuable reports and analyses
• Challenge costs allocations to develop greater transparency and accuracy in the measurement of the business performance
• Review Management Reporting Services output (including data validation, commentary…)
• Preparation/Review of various Management Information Packs
• Provide ad hoc analysis to key stakeholders as and when required
• Support CFO wholesale and Global MI Team (Set the tone, presentation, Quarterly reviews…) by providing insightful commentaries, analyses and forecasts
• Providing cover for other team members where needed
• Working with the wider finance team on process improvement and project work as it arises
• Maintain and develop stakeholder relationships

The Successful Applicant

FPnA Management Accountant - Trading desk and Finance Markets

City of London location with flexible hybrid working

Banking & Financial Services

• 
  Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) desirable
• Previous experience and proven track record in a global FP&A / Management Accountant role, ideally within the Banking Industry
• Good understanding of cost accounting and cost allocations
• Excellent knowledge of Financial Market Products
• Experience of dealing with Front Office and Senior Managers across large organisations
• Excellent excel skills (macro level)
• Advance skills in information presentation
