Management Accountant

My client, an established South-West based organisation, are seeking an experienced and technically astute Management Accountant to join them on an interim basis to aid them through a period of transition and growth. This will initially be for a minimum of 3 months with the possibility of being extended further.

You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing team and be able to make a significant impact on the financial performance of the business.

As the Interim Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Variance analysis and providing commentary on financial performance
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Cash flow management and reporting
• Supporting the preparation of year-end accounts and tax returns
• Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as require

The ideal candidate will be available at very short notice and have the following qualifications and experience:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Significant experience in a similar role
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Experience in cash flow management and reporting
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the business
