Job description
King Lifting is a growing and ambitious family business based in Avonmouth, Bristol, providing mobile crane hire and plant/machinery movement from depots across the south of England. We are proud of our name and reputation within the industry.
We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to provide support to the senior finance team and be responsible for the development of management accounts, financials, cash flows, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. The role and remuneration is flexible insofar as our growth allows us to consider more experienced individuals should the opportunity arise.
Duties will include:
- Audit preparatory work with appropriate reconciliations and information packs
- Improve and develop credit control procedures
- Assist in monthly reconciliation of invoice finance facility with ledger and cash book support
- Identify improvements, develop approved management accounting techniques
- Ad-hoc financial projects
Essential:
- You must have a minimum of 1 years proven experience of working within a management accounting role i.e. general ledger work around budgets, variance analysis, costings
- Capability to work under your own volition to support the Finance Management Team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with proactive approach to problem solving
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, pivot tables and VLookUp
Desirable:
- PAYE/Payroll experience
- Recognised financial qualification or studying towards a qualification
- Process improvement experience
