Management Accountant – Business Partner Revenue & Debt

How will you make a difference?
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for the monthly Revenue & Debt reporting, as well as producing meaningful commercial analysis for the Senior Leadership Team.
What will the Management Accountant - Business Partner be accountable for?
- Month end Revenue Reporting, including variance analysis to Forecast
- Month end Debt Reporting
- Monthly Bad Debt calculations and monitoring of the B/S Bad Debt Provision
- External Debt report submissions
- Ad hoc analysis of Cash Collections; Debtors balances; Bad Debt Provision
- Assisting with the implementation of connecting our new internal operational system and Sage
- Weekly debt reports
- Revenue inputs for the budget and forecast process
- Contributing towards the annual audit process
- Ad hoc projects
- Business partnering with the Edam leadership team
- Improving the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance
- Identifying opportunities for improving current reporting and implementing changes required
- Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior leaders
- Achievement of departmental KPIs and deadlines
How will you make it happen?
- Part or fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).
- Commercially aware and keen to develop overall business understanding
- Technically astute, with the ability to apply technical accounting knowledge to practical situations
- Self motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise and communicate effectively at all levels across the business, including Senior Management
- Innovative and solution focused with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of finance systems (Sage)
- Strong Excel skills
