Job description
As Management Accountant, you will primarily report directly into the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance operations.
There will be an opportunity to progress into a Finance Manager position in 6 months
Some of the key responsibilities for this successful individual would be but no limited to:
Prepare and maintain accurate and timely management accounts, including Balance Sheets, P&L Statements, and Cash Flows within SAGE Intacct.
Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with best practices and financial standards.
Business partner with key stakeholders, providing regular financial reporting and insight into business performance to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate reporting of key performance indicators.
Support the Group Financial Controller with the preparation of the annual budget and monthly Board Reports.
Continuously review and improve financial processes to ensure they are efficient and effective.
Assist with ad-hoc financial projects.

The Candidate: The successful Management Accountant will be/have: This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to develop their skills and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant - (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) • Proven experience in a management accounting position • Excellent analytical and financial reporting skills • Good knowledge of financial reporting standards and best practices • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel • Knowledge of SAGE Intacct would be great, but definitely not essential • You will be confident, self-motivated and have a passion for finance
