Job description
An exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a growing manufacturing company with multiple sites all over the UK. A competitive salary of circa £40,000 is on offer, as well as 33 days holiday, healthcare, and an early finish on a Friday.
Based near Malton, this role will provide a fantastic opportunity for an experience Management Accountant to add value and make a significant impact. As a Management Accountant you will be working to deliver timely and accurate cashflow forecasts and variance analysis along with supporting commentary and analysis.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, key responsibilities for the Management Accountant will include:
· Monthly management accounts production
· Accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and relevant reconciliations
· Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
· Responsible for creating accounts preparation efficiencies.
· Review financial data for accuracy, correctness, and completeness.
· Responsible for preparing specific monthly reconciliations for review.
· Attendance at monthly financial management reporting meetings with relevant operational stakeholders and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
· To support on the annual external audit
· To support in the production of the annual property budgets
· Ad-hoc project work
We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience in a fast-paced Management Accountant role, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
To be successful in this Management Accountant role you must:
· Be an advanced user of MS Excel
· Have initiative to make system and process improvements.
· Excellent organisational skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
Based near Malton, this role is commutable from Pickering, Kirkbymoorside, Scarborough, Helmsley and surrounding areas.
