Temporary Management Accountant job in Plymouth - Hybrid working
Butler Rose is seeking a skilled Management Accountant on an interim basis to support a large organisation in Plymouth whilst they recruit on a permanent basis.
This management accountant will use their expertise in financial analysis and complex accounting to play a crucial role achieving the client's financial objectives.

Butler Rose is seeking a skilled Management Accountant on an interim basis to support a large organisation in Plymouth whilst they recruit on a permanent basis.
This management accountant will use their expertise in financial analysis and complex accounting to play a crucial role achieving the client's financial objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide expert management accounting services to key stakeholders and managers.
- Lead management accounting reporting and ensure timely completion of monthly reports and accurate forecasts.
- Influence and support budget holders to make cost-effective decisions.
- Lead the budget setting process for relevant departments.
- Support complex business cases with financial analysis.
- Analyse variances, compare actual income and expenditure to budgets, and highlight areas of concern.
- Provide specialist financial advice, including knowledge of contracts and pricing.
- Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and stakeholders on strategic financial planning.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPFA or equivalent)
- Strong financial analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven experience in budget management and financial forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and complex spreadsheets.
