Job description

Due to the needs of the business, we can currently only hire male Support Workers . We're looking for people who can share your personal experiences and hobbies with the people we care for.

We're looking to hire passionate and caring Waking Night Support Workers. We can be flexible with shift working times, ideally starting work around 8pm, 9pm or 10pm and then finishing around 8am.

Areas: Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Littlehampton and more. Please note, you will always work as close to home as possible :).

Contract: Permanent contract, full time and part time roles available

Hours: Waking nights between 8pm and 8am (we can be flexible and can discuss this at the interview)

Pay: £23,500 to £25,000 per year plus a £600 car allowance and 45p per mile paid to you.

You will form part of a team with other Team Leaders and Support Workers, working together for successful outcomes for our residents. You will have additional support from the Supported Living Manager and Registered Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting young adults and adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
  • Taking people out on day trips and extra curricular activitiers such as walking and cycling.
  • Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the care & support policies and procedures
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
  • Be a kind, empathetic and people person who works well in a team.
