Maintenance Supervisor - Up to £39,950 per annum
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone to run the maintenance team shift, escort and support subcontractors, be responsible for ensuring when on shift lead keeping M&E farm infrastructure and systems working 24/7 and to ensure exceptionally high standards are kept at all times across the whole site
You will need to confidently lead a team of all abilities with customer facing aspects of the role as well
- Managing the daily shift team to ensure functionality and safety
- Assigning repair schedules and allocating jobs to team
- Attend daily Farm briefings and liaise with team heads across site
- Be the point of contact for escalation when leading the shift to Farm management
- Ensuring team maintenance procedures are adhered to by all team when managing shift
- Reacting to
- Update KC and HODs on any major issues
- Order spare parts and ensure managers are updated on stock levels
- Provide clear handover to Estates managers after shift and escalate as needed any major issues
- Workload and days are varied, and can involve anything from attending call outs to a leaky tap in a room, to supporting large events with set ups.
- We are looking to make improvements and changes to the current maintenance team culture and ethos and require someone to support current operations with fresh eyes and to support the farms needs
This role- is hourly and involves shift patterns of early mornings, evenings and late nights split fairly across the team. 5 shifts (flexible over 7 days). Weekends and on call work included.
What we are looking for
- Someone who is keen to lead a team and bring in daily structure to workload
- Works well under pressure but good at planning their own day and teams workload
- IT literate and able to manage CAFM systems and job stream
- Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge facilities machines and equipment.
- Happy to attend internal training as require
- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Sense of urgency
- Yes, yes, yes mentality
- Can do attitude
- Previous experience within hospitality or service-based industry would be ideal but not essential
