As an Maintenance/ Services Assistant , you would be working as part of a team. You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out effective repairs and maintenance of company property as required ensuring work is carried out in a safe manner and does not adversely impact customers and colleagues.
- Reporting to the Property Supervisor or Regional Property Manager any damage to property or works which will potentially require attention (either immediate or planned later date), reporting anything which could potentially impact safety immediately.
- Upholding the Group Philosophy and operating within Group Policies and Procedures
- Ensuring that all equipment is maintained in working condition, reporting any issues and arrange repair or replacement as necessary
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- General building and maintenance skills such as plumbing, decorating, carpentry, bricklaying etc.
- Ability to work on own or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a safe manner ensuring their own welfare and that of customers and colleagues.
- Effective communication skills.
- Problem solving
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work
