Job description
We have some excellent opportunities for Maintenance Operative's (Multi Skilled) to join the Building Services Team at Sunderland City Council.
The post involves carrying out a range of technical and non-technical trade activities to deliver the installation, maintenance and repair of disabled adaptions to domestic properties. This will include basic plumbing, joinery and wall tiling.
The successful applicant will have an NVQ Level 2 in any trade discipline and experience of delivering a similar role.
Working within the Building Services Team, you will be provided with a company vehicle for work purposes, as well as access to standby which attracts additional payments to the salary already on offer. There is also a generous annual leave entitlement, which commences at 25 days rising to 30 days after 5 years of continuous service, in addition to this you will receive all statutory bank holidays for England & Wales. There is also a contributory government pension scheme, and access to flexible working.
