BOTLEYS MANSION is currently seeking a MAINTENANCE MANAGER to join our team at our stunning wedding venue just outside Chertsey.

BOTLEYS MANSION* is thirty minutes from London but feels a million miles away. At the end of a leafy private drive, its handsome Palladian features preside over a classical fountain and 56 acres of rolling parkland (a rather fine backdrop for the photos). As you ascend the stone staircase for your first glimpse of the house, you pause to take in the view. The sense of space is exhilarating. Step inside and the scene is just as alluring, with a marbled reception hall beneath crystal chandeliers, gold leaf adorning the walls, and an airy glass atrium – set for a feast for 288 guests.

Across the hall, past the grand piano, The Green Room is a more intimate option for up to 131 guests, a beautiful, pastel-hued space bathed in the light of original sash windows.

The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of the venue and providing an exceptional level of service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting regular checks on the property to identify any maintenance issues
• Carrying out minor repairs, such as fixing leaky taps and replacing light bulbs
• Maintaining the grounds
• Conducting routine checks on the heating, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Assisting with setting up and taking down equipment for weddings and events
• Reporting any major maintenance issues to the House Manager Requirements
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings when required

Salary: £22,760.00-£26,000.00 per year
