Maintenance Fitter - Luton, England - £36,925 Plus Excellent Benefits

Based at one of their prestigious client sites based In Luton, England

Location: Luton, England

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 6 am - 2pm, Friday 6 am - 11am (weekly rotating pattern)

Monday to Thursday 2 pm to 10pm, Friday 11 am to 4pm

Salary: £36,925 Plus Shift allowance

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out inspections, maintenance, and repair of equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Repair plant and equipment during breakdowns.
• Monitor performance of efficiency of AHUs ( air handling units) and refrigeration equipment and carry out repairs.
• Carry out periodical servicing, checking, and testing of plant and services by PPM systems.
• Carry out mechanical maintenance to hot and cold-water systems and slurry treatment plant and accessories
• Undertake new techniques with suitable training.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Mechanical NVQ, C&G parts 1,2,3 or equivalent
• experienced maintenance fitter within an industrial/manufacturing environment
• experience of PPM
• A relevant HND/HNC Such as mechanical maintenance/engineering
• IPAF
