Description

Videndum Production Solutions designs, manufactures and distributes technically advanced products, giving broadcasters, film studios, video production companies and independent content creators confidence in the production equipment they depend upon to capture and share world class footage. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineering apprentice.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
In order to facilitate an installation, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment, an Electrical Apprentice performs many tasks:

  • Identify, analyse, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults.
  • Support and work with other members of the maintenance team fault finding and applying corrective actions.
  • To complete installations/repairs, the electrician apprentice will assist the electrician or perform less complex installation tasks independently. They will complete electrical wiring tasks, alignment adjustments, and calibration of equipment following manuals, schematics, diagrams, layouts and equipment specifications.
Entry requirements

Maths and English GCSE Grades 5-9 or A-C as a minimum.

Training to be provided
  • The learner will be studying the Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
  • Day release to West Suffolk College.
  • Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
