Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical bias) Rochester - Commutable from Medway, Gillingham, Chatham, Hoo £32,000-£38-000, Benefits, Pension, Mon-Fri, 8 hour days, Early finish Friday An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a multi-national manufacturer in an interesting and where you will in a new, state of the art workshop and have excellent training prospects. Do you have recognised engineering qualifications? Have you got experience maintaining production/manufacturing equipment or similar? This International business manufactures and supplies their specialist equipment nationally and is now looking for a maintenance engineer to join their team. The business are recognised for their investment and care of their workforce which is reflected in their low staff turnover. The role will involve planned maintenance on the production machinery, general maintenance of equipment, fault finding and producing corrective actions to maintain general upkeep. The position is based in Medway, Kent near Hoo. The right candidate will be mechanically biased, with some previous experience within a production/manufacturing environment highly advantageous. The successful candidate can expect to join an enthusiastic team and constantly learn and develop as they work on all aspects of maintenance within the new facility. The role is 8 hour days, with a mid-day finish on Friday alongside other benefits.
