Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

£53,000

Nights ( 4 on 4 off )

Overtime 1.5x

Looking for a capable individual to maintain the operation of production on both mechanical and electrical systems.

Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement using problem solving tools in accordance with company CI initiative to eliminate waste, improve reliability and reduce cost.

Key responsibilities

• Cover the factory on Reactive Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Root cause Analysis and ongoing reliability of all processing and packing plant.
• Scheduling maintenance of all machinery, including servicing, repairs, and inspections.
• Involvement in loss reduction and efficiency improvement activities with production operators.
• Conduct risk assessment prior to any maintenance work and ensure conclusions are implemented prior to start of work to remove hazards
• To ensure that all delegated mechanical and electrical work is performed with full regard to product safety and quality and employee health and safety
• All work carried out to be accurately recorded in a timely manor.

Experience and Skills:

• Fault-finding skills
• Understanding of problem-solving techniques
• Experience and understanding of machine controls and PLC's
• Experience within a manufacturing environment (FMCG/Food)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £53,000.00 per year
