Job description
Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a permanent job-based at an NHS site based in Edinburgh.
About The Job:
Carrying out PPM as well as reactive maintenance and minor works service covering a wide and varied range of mechanical equipment servicing large industrial units such as dual-fired boilers and heating and ventilation distribution equipment.
All mechanical equipment throughout the Hospital comprises heating equipment (pumps, control valves, radiators) ventilation equipment (fans, heating/cooling coils, Humidification) Domestic Hot Water equipment (calorifiers, safety devices) compressors, manifolds for medical gases, Building Management System control equipment.
Undertake fault finding on complex medical gas systems, MTHW /LTHW pressure heating water systems, critical systems and equipment, and pressurized steam systems.
Use of all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works ensuring full compliance with company guidelines and controls e.g. Risk Assessment, Site Safety, Fire Safety, Control of Infection and Hazardous Substances.
£17.50 p/h

- Experienced/qualified mechanical engineer
- Experience with various mechanical systems detailed above
- Available for an almost immediate start
- Live local to the Edinburgh area
- Happy with the above-outlined details above
- Able to get to the site for 8 am starts
- Speak & understand fluent English
