Reporting to the Purchasing & Facilities Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the continuous improvement of the Facilities function throughout the site.
Key Tasks will also include:
- Maintenance of Mechanical and Electrical Utilities, Compressor Systems and Fire Alarm Systems
- Ensure buildings comply with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
- Liaise with Sub-Contractors where appropriate
- To assist in the successful delivery of projects
- Regular auditing of maintenance and facilities ie… Lasers, Plasma, Press’s, Welding Equipment, Blast, Paint etc…..
- Assist with installation with new equipment
- General Facilities as requested
Experience:
- Relevant practical experience in a facilities environment
- Experience of government legislation and the Health & safety at Work NI Order
- Proven track record of delivering projects
- Proven track record of co-ordinator with contractors
- Computer literate
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good interpersonal skills, and determination to achieve results
- Good team player and have the ability to work on own initiative
- Proven experience within facilities maintenance and environmental discipline
- Ability to work with others to meet deadlines
- Ability to assess workload and commit to realistic timelines
