£45300 per annum
4 on 4 off days and nights
22 days holiday (+ Bank holidays)
5% matched pension and overtime available
The Company
Our client specialises in the manufacturing of extrusion products for various different industries. Their site in the UK has been trading for over 50 years, exporting to over 50 different countries. With a turnover of over 65 million, they are growing year on year. They have been, and still are, in the process of upgrading their machinery, seeing out some huge projects and have recently won a sucessful contract, that is huge for the company. With this in mind, they are looking for a maintenance engineer to join their experienced team.
The Role
The maintenance engineer will be responsible for all of the electrical and mechanical duties on site. This includes: reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and project work.
Electrical components you will need to be familiar with are:
Motors, safety circuits, relays, heaters, drives, sensors, circuit breaks
Mechanical components you will need to be familiar with are:
bearings, seals, belts, pumps, chains
You will need to be comfortable checking inputs an outputs on PLCs
The Candidate
To be successful in your application as a maintenance engineer, you must have the following:
- Recognised Level 3 Electrical Qualification
- Comfortable working both mechanically and electrically
- Experience working as a maintenance engineer in a manufacturing enviorment
- Happy to work shifts
