Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within NTW Solutions Ltd, in the role of a Maintenance Assistant. The suitably qualified and experienced candidate will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team based within the Estates Department.
The post holder will undertake and assist in the repair, service and inspection of building, mechanical, electrical and their associated systems, in accordance with relevant legislative standards and operational procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients, public and staff.
Be expected to produce work to a consistently high standard of work across the whole range of duties and applications required.
Shall be prepared to undertake additional training in order to fulfil the requirements of the post, satisfy new regulations/legislation or to further to develop the duties.
This vacancy will be based at Hopewood Park Hospital in Ryhope, Sunderland and will also cover the surrounding community premises.
Staff may at times be required to work at other NTW Solutions Ltd sites
The basic working week is 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday 08:00 to 16:00. You must however, have the ability and willingness to work flexible hours including overtime as workload demands, for which additional payment is made.
